Antima Gupta is the lead Physical Therapist of Cure Physical Therapy specializing in Lymphedema treatment (Complete Decongestive Therapy). She received her Diploma in Physical Therapy and Post-graduate Diploma in Rehabilitation focused Physical Therapy from premier rehabilitation institutes located in New Delhi and Mumbai, India. She received her Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from Wayne State University in May 2018 and has been a Certified Lymphedema Therapist (MLD and CDT) since February of 2010. She is currently pursuing Yoga teachers training due to be completed by June 2019.
Antima’s dedication to her work as a Physical Therapist paved the way to get tenured at Beaumont Taylor Health for almost 24 years. Her clinical experience includes Orthopedic, Oncologic, Neurological, Lymphedema and Geriatric patients. During her tenure at Beaumont, she was a regular receiver of “exemplary” rating on performance reviews.
She is an APTA credentialed Clinical instructor and has provided mentoring to students from APTA accredited PT programs like Wayne State University, Oakland University and Central University of Michigan.
In her free time, she practices Yoga, enjoys reading, traveling, meditation and walks with her furry child Curry. She also likes to cook for her family that includes her husband and two kids – big fans of University of Michigan – GO BLUE!
